Jalapeno Pomegranate Brie

Tis the season for bringing a festive dish to an event and not having a clue what to make or the time to make it. This festive looking appetizer will please the crowd and is so simple to make. Bonus you can play with the toppings to your liking.

Ingredients

-roll of brie

-Pillsbury crescent roll (1 package)

-8 oz of pomegranate seeds

-1/4 jalapeno

-1 TB sugar

-1 egg (beaten)

-if you find it you can use jalapeƱo jam as well

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Wrap crescent around brie leaving the top open for filling. Then take your beaten egg and brush on crescent. If you want to get fancier you can remove one section of crescent roll and cut it into leaf shapes then add to the top and brush with beaten eggs for a gloss. Then put in oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Combine pomegranates (drained) and 1/4 of a minced jalepeno. Add sugar and let sit while brie is baking.

When done add the pomegranate mixture on top the brie. Serve with crackers.
